@CorranQ: I think before all of the FX and CGI, let them write some good stories first. CGI is fun, but acting makes a series last much longer. (See TNG...) :)
I actually think Braga could do it if he is in charge of the writing stuff and does not have to compromise.
Ah well, for now I'm almost done with a 4 pages long speclist of the Vesta class major systems. Phew! :)
Waiting to be inspected?? That sounds somewhat ominous! LOL! By the publishers or whom?
And I hear you on the good stories, but as Michal's pointed out, they've already written some very good stories in novels. Not that Paramount ever uses them, but somehow because of these new times I suspect they'd be more open to an entire new series without any serious prohibitions =D
While I'm really looking forward to seeing the completed Aventine model, I have a request to make: May I use your Firebolt broomstick in an image on my blog? My email address is in my blogger profile for your reply - I'd be happy to send you the image first for your approval/disapproval. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Awww, hmm, maybe you should make a pitch to Paramount? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm currently preparing a second Aventine/Vesta model. (from scratch) The new one would not depict the prototype spaceframe.
ReplyDeleteStill think you should coax Paramount into a series ;-) I'm sure the actress for Ezri Dax would be thrilled ;-) Along with the fandom!

They have some good stories Star Trek: Destiny series is great and features Aventine.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you will publish this speclist here. It would be most certainly amazing.
Michal: I wanted to, but I cant at the moment, the list is waiting to be inspected. :)
