Interesting way to show scale. It reminds me that Aventine is smaller than I originally imagined. In my mind the engineers should be half that height shown in this picture.
Also I think I like the uninterpreted flow of the bow from the previous post better. Its more like the soothe surface of the Kirk era ships. Here it looks like you are borrowing from the Voyager design school. Still once the hull plating is added it will probably look much better.
Just saw your design changes that got shown on trekweb.com this weekend! Really like where you are taking her, especially since STO made a horrendous wannabe Aventine through the Emissary Class... You have no idea how hard I cringed, especially since STO does not at all recognize the Aventine historically speaking let alone about 10 novels happening around the period :-/

Hi! :) Well in terms of "construction" this one is a bit more valid then the MK1. While I design it as a workhorse, much like the Excelsior is, some beauty is probably in it. :)
These guys @ Cryptic should contact me, or perhaps I should contact them, see if there is a way to get this Aventine into the game. Would be cool!
