I like the double sensor pods, why not have a bit more going up there on that lonely bar hmm? Could give steroscopic sensor readings too!
Are you intentionally going for a Miranda class lineage? As if the Miranda class had the familiar design, preceded by a TOS-TV-era version, and this is the new 24th century refit?
I like it not as direct Miranda lineage mind you but as similar type. 8of5 how bout this fora 24th century Miranda http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/8580/mirandaa.jpg
8of5: The rollbar has 2 smaller sensor pods on it. (Perhaps not entirely visible here.) The rollbar on this class is modular, the pods can be exchanged for different types.
The Planck has 2 of these: http://www.ewe-squad.com/miranda2/particledetector.jpg (Work in progress.)
T'Var: I'm indeed using the Miranda design layout, but I would not call it a direct family member. My main concern with the original Miranda was how the pylons where connected to the hull, I solved that by creating a centerspine.

Please post full front, back, side, top, bottom views of the Planck-Class, please!
