The top view isn't Voyager's strongest side, so it's hard to judge based on just the above view, but so far I see you've addressed the most obvious criticism of Voyager, which is the short nacelles. They look much more balanced now with the saucer section. Not sure how I feel about the more tapered front, or tapered off rear of the nacelles yet, but I can't wait to see the finished product regardless.
Either way it looks like it's going to be a nice balance between maintaining the original look of the ship, and updating the design.
Hmm, I like where this is going, but I think bringing the nacelles forward along the pylons so they were almost centered from this top view might retain more of the "Voyager feel", while still looking like the ship "grew up" or evolved? Otherwise I keep feeling like the nacelles should taper inwards towards the back to maintain the overall streamlining?
While I love that you're redesigning Voyager, I don't like this path.. I'm a huge fan of your designs, but I don't think that the ship needs to be streched the way it's being streched. For some reason, seeing it streched makes it loose that "Voyager" feel. Contrary to public opinion, as made apparent by blobvandam above,I don't believe the nacelles were too short, I think they fit just fine with the Voyager design. I always assumed there hadn't been many external changes apart from the new bridge, as well as perhaps the deflectors. I had assumed after reading Ms. Beyer's novel's that most of the upgrades were internal (This assumes that your voyager refit has anything to do with Full Circle, as the Demeter and Merian do.) But of course this is merely my opinion. I don't mind the new saucer so much, that's actually rather cool, and many of my own designs go for this more arrow-headed design, but I honestly believe that the nacelles in this are just too long. Interesting concept none the less.

Thought I'd repost this on my new account so you could chide me for large negative comments about your nacelles ;) While I love that you're redesigning Voyager, I don't like this path.. I would like a the Voyager with Aventine design queues since it's being redone for slipstream, the Aventine nacelles are nice and so is the deflector.
