I had to postpone it the last couple of months, mostly because I could not find the focus to do it. But now is the best time to continue and finish it. After all, as Malcom Lu (brilliant 2D artist) said to me, Voyager is the star of the show, it should be done first. He certainly has a point.
I will consider this day 1 of the project.
I created a light rig and some decent render settings for my work in progress shots.
Because Voyager will need all of my attention to get it right, I will put my other projects on hold.

Cheer UP !!! i´m looking forward these great project, the new story about the flotilla really caught my attention, and knowing you´ll contribute to no less the redesign of voyager, gives the books a refreshing start.
ReplyDeleteAs far as i know from your previous post, it would be a little bit larger, with thinner nacells and the pillons doesn´t go up anymore, and could be possible the bridge dissapeared ??

Thanks, so far so good! There will still be a bridge on the same spot. The new bridge module will be a bit more streamlined. same goes for the nose. I wont make the nose longer, but it will be a bit pointier. The nacelles will be longer, probably not thinner. (I havent designed them yet.) I really need sleep, cant make normal sentences anymore! :)
